We never use sorry scraps in our balm. Instead, we start with suet—the finer inner fat. Then, without using water or excessive heat, we render the fat, protecting it from oxidation or rancidity.

*Note, it will melt in extremely high temperatures, but you need not worry. It may be a little harder once it resolidifies, but it will still benefit your body just the same.
